Your First Visit*

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to fill out our New Patient Form. We also happily offer an online fillable form to complete at home before your appointment.

*IMPORTANT: Any form submitted by email must be encrypted, to ensure it is secure. By submitting an unencrypted email form, you are consenting to an unsecured email. Alternatively, please print off the form, complete it, and bring it to our office.

Initial Examination

Your dentist will review your medical and dental history and perform a dental exam, including examining of your gums, teeth, bite and jaw, and any required X-rays.

Treatment Plan

Your dentist will develop a long-term dental treatment plan. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your oral health.

• How can I book an appointment?

  To book an appointment at Amberwood Dental Centre, please contact our office during our regular business hours.

• How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

  If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us. Please let us know about any change of plans as soon as possible, so we can offer the space in our schedule to another patient.

• Do you offer appointment reminders?

  In the days leading up to your appointment, you will receive automated phone, text or email appointment reminders from us. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please call us as soon as you can to let us know.

• Does your clinic have on-site parking?

  Yes, we have on-site parking available for all our patients, free of charge. We are also easily accessible by public transit. 

• What can I do while I wait for my appointment?

  At Amberwood Dental Centre, our wait times are short, but our comfortable seating area has a children's play area and a television for entertainment while you wait.

Insurance & Financing

At Amberwood Dental Centre, we'll help you navigate our options for payment, direct billing to insurance companies and financing so you can focus on getting the dental care you need.

• Direct Billing to Insurance

  We offer direct billing for most insurance plans for your convenience. We submit your insurance claim electronically, resulting in faster reimbursement, without the need for paper forms and signatures.

  Our administrative team can assist you in understanding your insurance plan better and can also send estimates to your insurance company prior to starting any major procedures. 

  Please bring your insurance plan information to your appointment.

• Financing

  Amberwood Dental Centre offers payment plans. Please speak to our administrative team at the time of your appointment if you're interested in learning more.

• Payment Methods

  Any co-pays or other amounts not covered by insurance are your responsibility, and must be paid at the time of your appointment.

  We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or most major credit cards.
