Born in South Africa, Dr. David Singer attended dental school at the University of Stellenbosch, which is in the heart of wine country. Following graduation, he completed two years of service in the South African Army in the Dental Unit as a general dentist.
In 1987, Dr. Singer moved to Canada and began practicing dentistry in Summerford, Newfoundland for two years. He then practiced in Edmonton, Alberta for a year before moving to Toronto in 1991 and joining us at Amberwood Dental Centre.
Dr. Singer constantly pursues continuing dental education and is an active member of the Toronto Academy of Dentistry, the Toronto Cerec Study Club, the Crown and Bridge Study Club, the Ontario Dental Association, and the North York Study Club. He has also been very involved with the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry for the past several years.
When he is not helping patients at our family dental centre, Dr. Singer enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time, he enjoys running and playing golf.
