Our Dentists

Dr. David Singer

Dr. David Singer was born in South Africa. He received his dental degree from the University of Stellenbosch, in the heart of wine country. He then served in the South African Army for two years working in the Dental Unit practicing general dentistry. Dr. Singer moved to Canada in 1987. He practiced general dentistry in Summerford, Newfoundland and Edmonton, Alberta before moving to Toronto in 1991 to join the practices of Uptowne and Amberwood Dental Centres. In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his family, running and pursuing the game of golf.
Dr. Derek Segall

Dr. Derek Segall was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and graduated with a degree in dentistry from the University of the Witwatersrand. Following his graduation, he served in the South African Defense Force for one year before embarking on his career in private practice. After seven years in private practice in South Africa, Dr. Segall decided to immigrate to Canada in 1998. Shortly after his arrival in Toronto, he joined the dental practices of Uptowne and Amberwood Dental Centres. In addition to maintaining a busy practice Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, is a keen gardener, and an aviation enthusiast. He also tries to keep in shape by working out and biking.
Dr. Hayley Greenspoon

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Dr. Hayley Greenspoon attended the University of Western Ontario, where she pursued an honours degree in Medical Sciences. After graduation, she embarked on her dental studies, still at the University of Western Ontario, by attending the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. After practicing dentistry in Oakville and Hamilton, she joined our practice here at Amberwood Dental Centre. When she is not helping patients at our family dental centre, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son, as well as cooking and travelling.
